This month is Membership and Extension Month. It is very apt that one of the avenues seen to attract new members is achieved via the club website.
As you are aware, one of the vision goals for the next 5 years is to have an up to date website. It is with pleasure today that we have a new look that is fresh and hopefully energetic. Not all Clubs have a website and speaking from personal experience, when I am away on holidays, the web sites for clubs in the area is the first port of call. I encourage all members to use our new website and feel free to email any material for uploading. The website is only as good as those who contribute to it. There is nothing worse than a website that has several fields of “currently under construction”.
It has become apparent that quite a few of our club members have been unwell over the past few weeks. You are all missed and I sincerely hope that you are on the way to recovering the best possible health status you can. There is always the risk when hearing that someone is unwell that you may appear to be imposing. However, it is this pastoral care that embraces the family and families of Rotary.
